Climate Policy Communication & Public Trust

I work in climate policy communication and public engagement, focusing on how complex climate and sustainability decisions are understood, communicated, and implemented in practice. My work sits at the intersection of public policy, institutional communication, and community participation, supporting the clear delivery of climate transition initiatives.

I contribute to projects and activities involving local authorities, public bodies, research organisations, and civic initiatives, with a focus on supporting communication clarity, participation formats, and behavioural understanding in climate-related programmes.

My focus is on practical implementation: how climate policies translate into everyday decision-making, how communication supports public confidence, and how participation structures function in real-world contexts.

Through ongoing monitoring, workshops, policy discussions, and civic engagement initiatives, I document and analyse how climate transition communication operates across Scottish, UK, and European contexts, contributing to evidence-informed approaches to public participation, public communication, and long-term policy delivery.
